FAQ
Questions about staying on water?
What is BOTELL?
BOTELL is a hospitality platform for On-Water Stays — accommodation that is genuinely on water and where the water materially shapes the stay. BOTELL is starting in Tallinn and building the category carefully.
What counts as an On-Water Stay?
The water must be physically beneath the stay, not simply nearby, and it must materially shape the experience. Ordinary waterfront apartments do not become On-Water Stays just because they have a water view.
Is BOTELL a boat-rental or yacht-charter platform?
No. BOTELL is accommodation and hospitality. A normal stationary BOTELL stay is not a boat-rental, yacht-charter or sailing booking.
Do I need boating experience?
No, not for a normal stationary BOTELL accommodation stay. You are not expected to navigate, sail or operate the vessel. Any unusual stay-specific requirement must be disclosed before booking.
Will every on-water stay feel and work the same?
No. Movement, access, bathrooms, showers, drinking-water systems, heating, marina facilities, noise and weather exposure can differ from one stay to another. The specific listing and guest instructions should explain what applies to that stay.
What does We Checked mean?
We Checked is a listing-specific trust mechanism, not a decorative badge. A stay carries We Checked only after BOTELL has completed and recorded the approved verification for that stay. Never assume a stay is We Checked unless the listing explicitly shows that verified state.
What languages does BOTELL support at launch?
BOTELL’s initial public launch languages are English, Estonian and Russian. A locale is published only when its real content is complete and approved; BOTELL does not publish an English fallback under an Estonian or Russian URL.
Where is BOTELL starting?
Tallinn is BOTELL’s launch city. The launch is intentionally focused; BOTELL is building the category carefully rather than creating the appearance of a large marketplace before the supply is real.
